Law & Psychology Research on Juvenile Vulnerability | Researcher
July – November 2025

  • Completed a 20-page interdisciplinary research paper examining how linguistically underdeveloped or impaired juveniles face disproportionate vulnerability in the justice system
  • Integrated psychological and legal frameworks to analyze interrogation practices and courtroom procedures
  • Conducted research under the mentorship of a clinical psychologist
  • Selected to present findings at the New Jersey Student Ethics Conference (NJSEC 2025):
    “Why Do Miranda Rights Fail to Protect Young People?”
  • Continuing the project through original survey research on adolescents’ understanding of Miranda rights
